Beautiful life at home and my thoughts during Covid-19 vacations: Experiences & Creative writing by my BBA I Year Students Mody University of Science & Technology,Lakshmangarh

BEAUTIFUL LIFE AT HOME DURING COVID-19 VACATIONS
The moment when I saw the topic, I thought that my whole vacations of covid-19 would be boring. But when our vacations was extended by the government I thought that I will not waste time and I just started taking some time from my parents to sit together or should play something with them. When our Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji announced that there will be proper lockdown in India, I was shocked but at the same time I was happy too because it is the time to spend with our families. My cousins and I started playing games like carrom, ludo, cards etc. The first day of lockdown, I was seriously happy because my dad who get busy everytime and is now playing with me. In addition, it was same as first day. Now the third, which was the most beautiful moments of these vacations because that day took me to my childhood days. That day will be my most amazing day because our whole family of 25 members was too happy and we enjoyed that in a very good andhygienic manner. We played games and we sat together and talked so much about our parent’s childhood memories. I can only say it by telling, “The day well spent”. Moreover, all days were similar and was happy with everything.

Now when I sat to do my college assignments I felt what this is because I spent so much time and when it came to do the assignments I thought I only wasted the holidays in spending time with my family. Seriously that days was my best moments of my life but these assignments made me feel boring and after half an hour I got the message that I got my vacations extended by my college and I started jumping and telling everyone that my college gave me break of 2 months more. I left my assignments where I did the last word of first page :) I again started spending time with my family while spending time my mind was struck with the thing that the people who are facing this problem cannot meet their families and not able to spend time with them. Day by day, the cases of coronavirus increased which indirectly affected me I did not know for what but seriously, when the cases started increasing by more than 100 it was taking my mind to pray for those who are still facing problems but meanwhile I read that do you know why all temples are closed and the answer was that all the Gods are in hospitals wearing white coats which makes me smile and its truth that they could only give them a chance to survive…….

So these were my beautiful and memorable days of my life, which should be told to our next generation………….

Vacation are the best time to relax and enjoy with everyone, on vacations we go out with our friends and families but in this vacations we are asked to STAY HOME by our honorable prime minister Narendra Modi because our whole country is suffering from COVID-19 to stay safe and healthy he asked all of us to stay home .This lockdown has given me an oppurtinity to explore learn more from my elders because of this lockdown I am able to spend my whole time with my family. I
used play with my cousins like badminton ,carom basketball and many other games. In this vacation I have learn to cook some dishes and this vacation has made me realize the importance of my collage, time, etc.
Because sometime I used to feel lazy to go collage and I used to waste a lot of time in useless things. In this vacation I have try to improve my physical health.
I think that covid-19 lockdown has benefited in several ways like cleaner environment, savage of coal and petrol now people are aware about their health and hygien, people are able to spend quantative
time with their family.

As we all a new virus is spreading all over the globe. The name of the virus is COVID- 19 or coronavirus lets first see what is this: Coronavirus disease (COVID-1 9) is an infectious disease caused by a new virus. more severe cases, difficulty breathing. You can protect yourself by washing your hands frequently, avoiding touching your face, and avoiding close contact (1 meter or 3 feet) with people who are unwell.
How it spreads Coronavirus disease spreads primarily through contact with an infected person when
they cough or sneeze. It also spreads when a person touches a surface or object that has the virus on it, then touches their eyes, nose, or mouth.
You can protect yourself and help prevent spreading the virus to others if you: Do Wash your hands regularly for 20 seconds, with soap and water or alcohol-based hand rub Cover your nose and mouth with a disposable tissue or flexed elbow when you cough or sneeze Avoid close contact (1 meter or 3 feet) with people who are unwell Stay home and self-isolate from others in the household if you feel unwell Don’t Touch your eyes, nose, or mouth if your hands are not clean Latest news on coronavirus
2 April 21 :00 GMT — COVID-1 9 cases cross the one-million mark More than one million cases of COVID-1 9 have been confirmed as of 2 April, according to data compiled by researchers at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. But in much of the world, people exhibiting mild or no symptoms are unable to get tested, meaning that the true number of cases could be much higher.
The outbreak, which started in Wuhan in Hubei province, China, in early December, has now spread to 1 81 countries and regions. China was relatively successful in containing its outbreak to Hubei. But the virus has spread rapidly between and within other countries. China accounted for almost 80% of the first 1 00,000 patients identified, but the United States now contains more cases than any other country, with more than 20% of the world’s total. The pandemic has resulted in a reported 51 ,485 deaths around the globe, and more than 209,000 people have been identified as having recovered from the disease. As we can see the news the virus is rapidly spreading across the world.
Covid-1 9 is one of the deadliest diseases that mankind has ever seen. But there seems to be that there are some ‘positive’ effects the Coronavirus. According to China's Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the air quality improved by 21 .5 per cent in February. The pollution is reduced because of lockdown. India is home to 21 of the world's 30 most polluted cities, but recently air pollution levels have started to drop dramatically as the second-most populated nation endures the second week of a 21 -day lockdown amidst coronavirus fears. Because of Covid-1 9 the air pollution is reduced because of that now birds can freely move in the sky without any polluted air in the sky. Water pollution is also decreasing. Now there is no traffic in the big cities. The graph of crime rate has been witnessing a downward trend for the last few days in the world. Now we also have so much to spent with or family and friends but we have to be careful and take precaution. So that this deadly disease cannot affect us. We can do this by breaking the chain
And we can break the chain by staying at our houses. So, let’s see what can we do to
make this quarantine better and beautiful. We can clean your home. Do some yoga with a TV or YouTube program.
Spend some time with family Learn something.
Pursue a hobby you don’t usually have time for.
Play board games with family.
We can learn cooking
We can help our mom because now she has to do more work than usual.
Start meditation
Video chat with our long-distance friend.
Spend time with grandparents.

“ Life is quite unpredictable” this phrase now can be understood by each and every person on this planet. None of us knew it, this virus will lead to amid pandemic and fear all over the world.
Covid-19 is a deadly virus for people whose immune system is weak and is spreading mainly to the age old people. There is an constant fear in everyone’s mind and heart for themselves, their family and for the rest of the world. There is an lot of chaos going around the country. Economy is going down, lockdown has been imposed all over the states for the safety of the people, daily wages worker are struggling for their everyday meal and for survival, people cannot travel to their homes, migrants have been waiting outside the bus stand without food and water waiting for government to rehabilitate them to their houses, street dogs and animals are starving to death, cases are increasing day by day making the situation worse and lastly there has been great loss to academic due to shutting down of schools and colleges. It has also lead to good things i.e. there has been decrease in pollution, lakes are more cleaner now, cities are more cleaner, fishes are coming back in lakes.
Whole of the world is fighting this battle in their own ways. Countries which have best medical facilities are struggling for their people to get them treated at its best and countries with low medical facilities are also trying for its people. Awareness should be there in people so that corona wont spread to more people.
But due to this, one good thing happened i.e. people are getting the time to spend with their families, loved ones. Most of the people were busy in their hustle bustle life that they used to forget about their families. They were so busy in making money that they never used to enjoy small pleasures of life. People are getting more time with themselves, they are knowing themselves better and each other also.
As a college student, we used to miss our homes so much and we used to miss the memories and wished for the vacations to never end. Thanks to quarantine, we have more days to spend with our family. Home is the only place where we are the safest and secure and that “ gharwali feeling” is so pure for  everyone.  My life during this lockdown was amazing as I discovered new talent of mine i.e. cooking, I worked on my skills and tried to improve them. When people are sitting together, they get to hear many old stories from their grandparents or their parents. Everyday is a new day and its up to you how you choose to spend it. Some people just sleepseveryday and do nothing and some people works on their skills and do some productive things. I did both at days I am too lazy to get up from my bed and at days I am over enthusiastic and did all the pending work.  Life at home is beautiful. You enjoy every moment with your parents, siblings, learn new thing everyday.
Staying at home for longer period of time is difficult but people have to do it. Office employees spend their time by doing work from home, college students have been doing their assignments and school students are taking online classes. My siblings are really happy as they have been promoted to next class without giving exams. My parents are happy as they are getting to spend more time with me. Children always used to complain about for their parents time and now parents can give endless time to their children and get to know their children better.
We have played many games such as the seven stone, badminton, cricket, cards and many more games with everyone. Everyone is together in this and are fighting to destroy coronavirus and lead a normal life again.  I wish this pandemic to end soon and our country to be free of virus so that we can go back to colleges and enjoy. This pandemic made us realize that the things we take for granted are very precious and we should enjoy every single moment of life.
A small poem on Corona days
I had packed my bags and was ready to fly,
Corona came to my life and everything standby.
I feel so bounded and yet so free,
It’s hard to accept this is not a dream.

I want to step out, I want to see the world,
I want to shout loud and I want to get heard.
Oceans are cleaner and mountains are greener now,
But only way to feel them is sit at home and say wow.

Corona phase has taught me how unpredictable can be so called life,
Live every single moment make it a paradise.
It has taken away all my fears and has made me stronger,
We will surely bounce back as corona cannot stay for longer.

Change is the only constant and it is true.
Something is waiting at the other end which is brighter and new.

Wash your hands,
Maintain social distancing,
Stay safe and stay at home.

THE ALMIGHTY CORONA
Vulnerable are we to this strange disease,
Bewildering is its clusturous essence!
Admist the desserts of Rajasthan,
The almighty corona…
Making its impact amongst the young and old
Lethargical has made it us all,
The monotonous corona!
Beauty and the beast does this corona posses,
Only the beholder’s eyes can peep within…
Cherishing the quality time,we once wished to have,
Can be observed by this deadly corona!
Netflix and hotstar- entertaining many,
The effect of the almighty corona,
Being potrayed heavily!

How much we can gain through Corona
Are known to many,
However, only the wise know this shrewd genie!
The almighty corona,
Admist the desserts of Rajasthan!
Bipasha

This type of lifestyle is certainly a different experience for everyone
and also for me. This is actually time where you can really spend
quality time with your family. In this busy lifestyle where everyone is
busy in their own life this vacation is for family and home. Although
nobody wanted this lifestyle where we have to stay home for whole
day but for fighting with corona virus, this is the only option left with
whole country.
At this point of time where situation is critical over whole country is
facing so critical situation therefore we all need to be together in this
lockdown and try to enjoy it! We should engage ourselves in some
work and hobbies to spend time. That’s what I am doing to spend
time at home happily and not just getting bored. So that people
don’t get bored Ramayana and Mahabharata is again played on TV so
that people stay entertained. My parents are really enjoying
watching these shows about our ancient epics.
I have made a time table for studies. Not too much hours for study
but still I have specified three-four hours of study daily so that there
won’t be load of studies immediately when we will go to college.
Moreover, we have got assignments which keep me busy. By these
assignments we are also completing some part of our course.
Therefore, studies from are going on as opening of college is delayed
too much.

Me and my friends all are missing our hostel life surprisingly, earlier
we used to think when holidays will start. Now, due to COVID-19
there we have got huge vacation but since we all can’t move out of
house it’s difficult situation for everyone but I convince myself by
thinking about those doctors, police, volunteers and many others
who are away from their home working in this critical condition, in
comparison to them I have much more better life right now.
Sometimes this thought come to my mind that will everything go to
back normal ever, will corona virus ever go? But there is solution to
everything in this world and there will be certainly one for this also.
Even my mom is government teacher so she has to go on duty to
convince people to support lockdown and do survey about people
who have come from outside. My father who is also government
lecturer have to daily record to video lectures which takes whole day
to complete, more hours than he used to work in normal days. It is
really much difficult time for some people and what we have to do is
really small compared to them. I think this is worst time for labours
who are not getting wages and having difficulty to even get food.
I learned to cook different vegetables and chapattis in these
vacations. So, somehow these vacations have proved productive to
me. I daily make lunch for everyone without any help from my
mother as she is at her work. This is what I think is my best learning
in the vacation. In evening I and my father play badminton so that
there is any sort of physical workout. And, whenever we requireharu
fresh air we go to terrace.

Entire world is talking about Coronao
Invisible yet destructiveo
Omnipotent and omnipresento
The air we breathe,
The food we eat,
Hands we shake, everything got
"coronized"o
Empty streets, empty halls,
Everything started from the land of
"Great Walls"
Feels as if, we are nearing disastero
People are isolated and shivering,

Many counting their days in isolation wards
Handshakes replaced with namasteso
Sharing of hand sanitizer became the symbol
of caringo
"Made in China" lost it's popularity
Masks hiding their beauty, yet saving their
liveso
Business in loss,
Yet corona has no remorse!
But there is a peace that flls in the air
No jet engines in the sky,
No trafc, no honking of hornso
Just the birds and breeze seem freeo
Let's stop handshaking!

Let's fold those hands and pray to God,
to shower his mercy
And this is not permanent darkness
It's just a momentary blink of God's eyes and
soon the brightness will prevail,
Once he opens his eyes.

Today we are facing the biggest threat to humanity. It is novel in nature and hence it's
reprecussion are beyond our today medics imagination.
The solution of this problem may not be easy to find out but sitting at home will surely prevent it.
I want to share my personal experience in thare LOck down . Many of the people went sad when
the P. M. announced national Lockdown for 21 days.Instead of seeing it as punishment we
should look at the brighter side of it.
Implementation of this lock down at an early stage saved India from facing the Crisis faced by
Italy and other countries other than that, the time which we always miss in our regular life for
our hobbies is now available.
People are now in their houses.roads and streets are vacant with few cars on the road and
plans in the sky, the environmental benefits of this lock down.
Now talking about personal experience my father is always busy.he could not spend
much time with my family, but in times of this crisis which made him close to us. I was able to
connect very well with my mom in recent days. I learnt many new dishes form her. After a long
time we all found quality time. Being busy in studies and other stuff, I was never able to care
about my grand parents. In this old age their immune system can't defend themselves.from
various disease but now I am taking care of them day and night.
Apart from that, as per the government's instruction we stopped charging rent On two of our
paying guests who are labourers and provided them with food, masks and other necessities.
Social distancing and sanitization are the key measures to prevent this disease being away,
from our relatives and neighbours is the best way in which we can help them and
ourselves.Going out should be prevented unless it is very important.
Policemen and other government officials should be highly appreciated for their dedicated work
towards nation during these dire time.
At last, I want to conclude things by saying that we should follow this lockdown strictly as per
our government's direction because it is for our safety.

All this social isolation got all of stuck at home and thinking about how we took all the normal life forgranted . Nobody would have thought that only because of one lady who has eat some infected thing and whole world have to go under lockdown. Sometimes we all wanted to stay at home and do many thing but for a reason but we never get time. So basically this quarantine got all of us chance to think about life and all the things we wanted to do , all of what is pending. By this we get some more time to spend with our family share each other ideas. Now I utilized these vacations is kind of interested. Being an optimistic i had to see the positive side of the covid vacations . I always wanted to try some cooking and I tried various dishes and good in many of them .i think I love experimenting with various spices was all inside me and I didn’t got chance to cook due to acedamic year . now I am totally excited to make such for my friends when I meet them next. Now I also had wish to made  homemade for my close ones which was buried under loads of assignment. I m happy I got to complete them too. The most positive about this is yet to describe we whole family got to stay at home together after so long . it was more like a family trip   we had in childhood with all of us laughing and cherishing the moment. We also tried meditation and read books and talked about them with each other. We all wanted movies and stuff together. My father even taught me gardening skills, I too tried to raise a plant on my own. We totally can’t unsee the negative effects of it on economy of our country and daily wage labourers they all suffered a lot. At last all these holidays gave me time to rediscover myself again.

Will coronavirus herald a new era in vaccine innovation?"
Viruses have always posed a major threat to our lives, viruses
generally are incurable and thus,
they cause a major threat to mankind. The recently occurred
virus is the Corona Virus or Covid-
19.
Coronavirus, a threat that is being faced by the whole world has
caused many deaths already and
many are already affected by its venom. The virus, found in
China, has symptoms that make it
unidentifiable, for example, a person coughing regularly might
not be suffering from a cough but
the effects of this virus. Moreover, this virus has been affecting
only humans and hence the
world is facing a big crisis. Currently, almost the whole world is
under lockdown, i.e. all the
offices, schools, malls, etc. everything has been shut down and
people are confined within the
four walls that he is surrounded with. This has led to a major
downfall in the economy, and if not
stopped soon, the whole world can face a major financial crisis.
All the doctors, right now are

currently focused only on one thing, to stop this disease from
spreading any further at all cost.
The virus has been such a threat that finding a cure for this
vaccine hasn't been easy at all. The
doctors, even though trying their best haven't been able to
figure out any cure for this disease.
The doctors stand right there as the only hope for us humans
between life and death and the end
of mankind. If the vaccine is created, definitely a new era in
vaccine innovation would be raised
as we can see its only innovation that can be helpful for us at
this point and if the vaccine is
created, this will be a new point in human life and vaccine
innovation.
But at the same time, if the vaccine isn't created, this might be the end of mankind. Thus I can
say that a new era is definitely on the cards, and it is up to the doctors to decide whether it is the
new era of mankind or the new era of vaccine innovation. If the vaccine is created this will serve as a turning point in human history and also will be a morale boost for the doctors to create vaccines if such problems ever occur in the future. The
virus has already caused a lot of harm and needs to be stopped
at all costs. We, the citizens can also help the doctors by staying at our rooms and not going out
at all, this will prevent us from getting infected and thus, further spreading this disease.
In the end, I would request you all to please stay at the places you currently are and not roam
around unless necessary, if we have to win against this disease, then we must support our doctors
at all cost. This is the only way, a new era for vaccine innovation can be created else, it is the end of mankind
Now if I have to sell this article to people around, I need to tell them the positive points of this
article, which are listed below:
  1. It is unique
    2. It is fact proof
    3. This article is completely different from the news reports: i.e.
it talks about the beginning of a new era unlike the deaths and people affected list on news channels.

“Chase your dreams but always know the road that will lead you home again”.
The above lines is just a simple quote. Home is a place where your roots are connected, how far you go, how big you become, how eligible you are, but home will be home. It is not just a place where at the end of the day all human being would return, but it is a feeling. As a boarder, staying inside the hostel for many days I certainly realized what home is. Everytime I would see the academic calendar if the institution and wait for the time when I would just tell my parents about my vacations.
Now when I am in my home I realize that it is a different world for me now. I get to do nothing actually, just lay down and ofcourse I am urging to complete my assignments on time and submit on time. It is like a den to me, it is a place which has seen me grow up from infant to a lady. I am ofcourse my time and learning how to cook from my mom and aunt. Life is always beautiful in home because apart from my studies I get time with my grandma and just sometimes request herto tell her those bedtimes stories which got lost many years ago as we are so engrossed in our own lives and are so into modern technology. And ofcourse the Ramayan on DD national is keeping all our family members together.
Apart from such beautiful life, the worldwide pandemic Covid-19 is keeping the world tensed, so we are respecting the decision of lockdown and are inside home,so I am always washing my hands, chlothes and though I travelled back home from jaipur to Kolkata so I had quarantined my self for two weeks. This pandemic is a serious condition but we are human beings and we know how to manage situations and stay happily together inside our houses and I personally feel that apart from this virus, people are staying inside their houses and the rate of pollution is getting better and nature is blooming.
Nayanika Ghosh

Of all places on Earth, our home is probably the only place where we feel safe. Home is the only place where we can do anything at our liberty without fearing repercussions.
In today’s era we youngsters always want to go out with friends, hang out, travel and all kinds of stuff which fills our life with a lot of memory and fun. We don’t want to stay at our home just for the sake that people know how trendy and modern we are, to post great photos on our instagram page, so that we can get likes, comments, followers etc, but we should pause ourselves for a while and think “Is this what we really want?” If we think from our heart the answer will be
“NO”. Most of us would want to stay in our home sleeping on our cozy beds with our favourite blanket on and when we get up next morning shouting “MOM” at the top of our voice because we love her more than
anything in the world and also because she is the best chef and will cook the most
delicious and priceless breakfast which we will not get in “Flurys”. Today we give
importance to our friends more than anything in the world but what about those brothers and sisters who stayed by our side for the day we were born. But because of CoronaVirus we all are getting this opportunity or we can say “once in a lifetime chance” to stay with our family 24*7 and experience that life is beautiful at
“HOME”.

This poem defines the value for a home and why we need it. There are many people on
this planet who are homeless still they don’t complain about their lifestyle and because of CoronaVirus we will understand better what is the importance of life and what is the
value of others in our life. India is fighting against coronavirus and so are other nations but this is maybe leading to a healthy and a safe future as pollution level is going to go down due to lockdown in different nations, population level is going to decrease which may increase employment level and increase the economy of the country.
I don’t pray for Corona to stay but I wish to get it removed as soon as possible so that
nobody loses their close ones. If we obey all the measures taken by the government to
eradicate this pandmeic then we all can live happily and safely.
Here is a story about a dad which inspires and give me hope that maybe corona is here is make us happy and in future we can fight against it so that further we make lots of happy memories like this
Being at home every day with my wife and 1.5-year-old son is a huge blessing. I get to see my son during his waking hours, play with him in the mornings and early afternoons, educate him and see him developing. This hits home for me in a unique way, because I find it hard to drop him off at kindergarten in the morning and entrust him into the care of a ‘stranger’. As loving and caring as the staff at our local daycare are, this goes against my parental instincts and always felt ‘unnatural’.
I, like millions of other parents around the world, have just come to accept that this is how post-industrial societies function: daddy and mummy go to work/school, while someone else looks after our kids for the bulk of the working day. So being forced to all stay at home and having our son here beside us under our supervision and in his ‘natural habitat’
has been a blessing. On the other hand, it’s tough. In the hat that I wear in the outside world, as a professional, a worker, as someone ambitious, it’s hard for me to lose my level of productivity and output. Kids need 100% of your attention.

nd the people stayed home.
And read books, and listened,
And rested, and exercised,
And made art, and play games,
And learned new ways of being,
And were still.
And listen more deeply.
Some meditated,
Some prayed,
Some danced,
And people began to think differently.
And the people healed.
The earth began to heal.
And when the danger passed,
And people join together,
And dreamed new images,
And created new ways live,
And heal the earth fully,

Khabro pe Khabro ki kaise ye tah hai,
Ye kaisa samay hai ye kaisa samay hai,
Utrane lagi dur kirno ki toil,
Chakane lagi pas chiriyo ki boli,
Ye kaisi hawa hai,
Magar khomoshi bolti har jaghah hai,
Ye kaisa samay hai ye kaisa samay hai,
Kisi dar se chinkta hai na koi,
Dabe pair jaise niklta hai ghar se,
Corona bana iski wajah,
Ye kaisa samay hai ye kaisa samay hai,

Na koi dua ha na koi na koi dawai,
Lagi aspatalo me lasho ki dheri,
Corona ne kaise kayamat hai dhai,

Our life is so tangled in our everyday chaos that we
never find peace and time for ourselves and our loved
ones. The bond was fading with my family. I began to
realise my inner self, my talent which i thought i owned
none. Bringing the artist within ourselves, finding the
true you in this spare time made me realise there can be
a peace and beautiful life at home

bana leti hoooon....
Kamoon se busy rehna wale aaj ghar ke sabhi
sadasya, ghar mein ek satth baithe hein....
Jaaam kaar khub saari bateein karta hain, kabhikabhi kuch chote chote khel khel lete hain.
Iss baadi aapda ne humein aaj ek chiz toh zaroor

Ghar ke badoo ke sath samay bitana aur purani

Corona virus is proven to be the biggest
challenge of our country. It is the most crucial
time for our nation.Besides this, the most
difficult time indians are facing nowadays is
tired of being in their houses and how to pass
their time.
According to me,this period is the best where I
can sit and self introspect myself.I can get
knowledge of my flaws, and able to know my
strengths ,doing things I’m good at like
cooking. In these days, I have learned making
plenty of new yummy dishes. This time is also
considered to be my best time because in this
time I have catch up with my old friends whose
voice I haven’t heard in years.Remembering
our fun times, nuisance we used to create is
simply awesome.Reviving old memories is the
best way according to me with those old
friends is a golden opportunity.

This period is the best to spend time with
family. As being in hostel,I rarely get time to
get along with my parents as I was able to do
before. But due to this quarantine period,I am
glad that I’m able to do all the fun I used to do
before.Playing cricket with papa and my little
brother, cooking sessions with mom and the
most entertaining siblings fight. This period I
don’t really feel much kind of boredom because
I love to spend time with my people and yes
obviously home is always a happy place for
me.In this time,I have also started some new
netflix series like friends,the vampire
diaries,some kind of series that I haven’t
watched before.I really got so fascinated by
the plot of the series that I really forgot that
someone is saying something to me.I am not a
sleepy head,I used to wake up early in the
morning.I go on a walk,keeping social
distancing thing in mind.Seriously waking up
early and going on a walk is a best a person
can do,as in the morning there is used to be
quiet everywhere and chirping of birds is the

most peaceful sound I have experienced yet
and usually in early mornings there is kinda
cold so I myself feel very much relaxing
walking in the cold breeze.
Really this quarantine preiod has proved to be
the best period of my time. The period in which
I get time to introspect myself, spending time
with my loved ones and also a many.So these
are my thoughts about spending my beautiful
life at home.

Aaj ke is busy schedule me insaan ko ek minute ki fursat nahi hai apne liye ya
apne pariwar ke liye waqt nikalne ka kyounki wo apne daily schedule me itna busy
ho gaya ki wo apna waqt apne pariwar ko nahi de pa raha hai. Aise me jo 25
March ko lockdown hua to aise laga jaise bhag dowd wali jindagi tham si gayee.
Ab insaan pura waqt apne pariwar ke saath gujar raha hai. Hum apne dada, dadi
se sune the unke samay ki kahani ab aisa lagta hai hum usi purane samay me aa
gaye. Ab pura waqt apno ke saath gujar raha hai. Ye life itni beautiful hogi maine
kabhi sochi bhi nahi thi. Aur din bhi aise lagta hai chhota pad gaya hai. Pura din
hum log apas me khelte hai enjoy karte hai, jab chahe sabki pasand ki picture laga
ke enjoy karte hai. Jitne hamare rishtedar hai ya purane school ke samay ke
friends hai unsab se khub baatein hoti hai.
Samay nahi de paate the jo apno ko
Samay hi samay ab reh gaya hai dene ko
Is lockdown se ek aur chiz ka fayda hua hai hamara environment bhi sudh ho raha hai. Jisse logo ki tarah tarah ki bimari jo pollution se hoti thi wo bhi kam ho gayee hai. Jisko asthma ki bimari thi usko to especially bahut fayda hua hai. Is lock down se ek our fayada hua hai road accident nahi ke barabar ho gaya hai kyounki limited gadiyan chal rahi hai or road puri khali rahti hai. Ab din bhar ka schedule sabka change ho gaya hai. Apni marji se uthana, marji se sona or apne mann pasand ka khana khana.
Isme koi shak nahi ki ghar mein rehna sabko bahut accha lagta hai (especially
students who live in hostel) lekin abhi ghar mein rehna mushkil ho raha hai. Bahut se log shikaayat bhi kar rahe hai ki koi kaam hi nahi hai bas ghar mein bore ho rahe hai aur kuch log yeh soch rahe hai ki yeh hamara Kartavya hai jo veh ghar pe reh kar hi Bharat ki iss Covid-19 jaisi badi bimari se ladne main apna yogdaan de rahe hai. Kher yeh bhi accha hai agar issi tarah sab sochne lage to hum iss khatarnak bimaari se lad kr jeet sakte hai.
Iss lockdown ki wajah se mujhe bhi apni sisters ke saath time spend karne ka
chance mil paaya hai. Varna abhi hum sab apne hostels mein hote aur apni
studies mein dhyan de rahe hote. Issi wajah se hum apne parents ke saath bhi aur
time spend kar paa rahe hai.
Iss lockdown ke time par log apna time pass apni hobbies pe kar rahe hai, apne
interest ki chize kar rahe hai jaise, singing, dancing, cooking, drawing, watching movies. Bahut logo ke liye jo apne competitive exams ki tayyari kar rahe hai yeh ek golden opportunity hai ki unko apne exams ki tayyari ke liye aur time mil jaa raha hai.
Studies pe bhi bahut affect hua hai. Ab sabki online classes chal rahi hai ya phir sab students ko assignments mile hai. Jisse students ki padhai pe koi loss na ho. Isse students bhi kuch had tak busy rahenge unka time bhi pass ho jayega. Iss situation pe ek shayari pesh hai:
Aaj phir zindagi ki kimat jyada aur
Daulat ki kimat kam ho gayi hai
Aur sabki aazadi gharo mein band ho gayi hai

I came home for Holi holiday, it went well. I was supposed to return to the
hostel the day of extension of holiday due to the CORONA VIRUS spreading rapidly. So, this was the starting of the lockdown days (completely homebounded). This vacation really made me realise few things that many of us really over-looked knowingly or unknowingly. I observed that because of the technologies – mobiles, laptops, play stations , we hardly convey with our parents and most of the time I was out with my friends but since the day
lockdown began spending the whole day with my family I came to know many things about me which I use to do when I was too young. All of us faces were remembering those days smiling and laughing.
This time instead of showing tantrums to my mom for food, I learnt to cook few dishes and once made a whole meal for my family. We together played games, we even gossiped at the silly things. I realised how much I have missed my lovely parents and this time in hostel.
I have a younger brother who is just 2 years old, now I got sufficient time to
admire his ways. This really excites me a lot. I even taught him Alphabets and names of different colours. My sisters and me use to dance every evening for workout with some fun. We together made many creative crafts and drew portraits. The days went like this- learning, playing, enjoying, studying and above all eating and sleeping.
Apart from this I was really missing my friends and hostel fun. When we use to contact each other on call or text our words were,” I hope this vacation ends soon and we come back to hostel.”
Yes, this vacation proved to be exciting, boring and even lazy but all of us never ignored our safety. We took all the precautions and followed whatever our honourable Prime Minister wanted us to do. My family and me distributed food packets to those who were stuck in the lockdown and had nothing to eat with them. We also distributed biscuits and milk to those poor family who have small kids, spreading and sharing love is a great feeling that one can experience any
time. This gives us the real happiness and satisfaction.
I will end up with few more lines, we should not wait for a specific occasion or time which will make us talk to our family. We can take out few minutes or hours from our strict daily routine to make few good moments that can add to our memories. Atleast, once in a month or two we can share our little time giving food, who we think they need it, and fill their stomach. Getting no precious thing in return, one thing we can surely get is God’s blessing.
Honestly, these things will truly make us happy and it will count in your life.

The corona virus hit us by surprise and consumed the entire world within months. Nobody could have predicted the loss of so many lives, forcing the countries into lockdown, shut schools and public places and put our life on hold.
My friends who I was very excited to see after the Holi break and to be able to finally take a breath of fresh air after the city dust and the projects, all has been postponed and we are left with this void.
India had reported its first cases in Kerela, all of whom were students returned
from china. The transmissions escalated in the month of March, most of which were related to people with a travel history to affected countries. The number of confirmed cases crossed 100 on 14 march and the government declared the pandemic as a notified union disaster.
The closedowns started on 5
th march with the Delhi government announcing
closure of all the primary schools, followed by complete closedown of all colleges and public places in Delhi as a precautionary measure until 31
st march. By 18th march, every state had announced the closure of educational institutions and public places. And on March 24th, the prime minister announced that the whole country would be under lockdown for next three weeks i.e. until 15th April.
It’s been more than two weeks since I have not stepped out of the house and been quarantining. When the university declared holidays , all I could think about was how I was going to spend my days , while their was excitement about being able to pursue my long lost hobbies again and getting to spend more time with my family , their was also this
Social Distancing isn’t easy. The people around the country and the planet are being asked to stay home and minimize their contact with the outside world to slow the spread of corona virus. Every day, a new article is published on how to quarantine the “right way” or how this is your time for self improvement. But in this time I am trying to pick up some new hobbies, such as cooking. I have been learning how to cook and the best part about is that I get to spend more time with my mom and while also learning the art and enjoy the result that is eating afterwards. The time in the kitchen flies with mom, while she teaches me how to

cook, I keep buzzing her with my questions about when she started cooking and how is she so good at it.
Another thing I was keen to learn was how to draw and paint. I was sure that the last time I had held a brush in my hand was in primary school or the last time I had drawn would be a diagram for biology. So, I try to draw something every day. From flower vases to eyes and since my brother sketches, I had the privilege of having an art teacher at home. I surprised myself with how consistent I have
been with it and hopefully this is how it will be.
While, I decided to get out of my comfort zone and try my hand at some new
things , I made sure to revisit my long lost hobbies which I couldn’t take the time
out for in my previous routine , such as reading . Some got the dust off these, and I spend hours absorbed in my books and have a cup of coffee to accompany me. I also finished the TV series that I had been longing to watch from the day it came
out and have movie nights with my family. I have also taken up the one month
online course on digital marketing and trying to learn new skills. Just because I am on holidays, it doesn’t mean I completely get away from learning, and so I also do the assignments that we have been given.
Due to the uncertainly of this situation, I don’t know when I will be able to meet
my friends again, so we talk on video calls about our days and what each of us has been up to. It has also given me time to reconnect with the friends and
relatives to whom I haven’t talked to in very long.
I cherish the time that I have been able to spend with my family .From eating our
meals together, playing board games , debating on what to watch , exercising ,
revisiting some old memories and planning what we will do when the crisis is
over. This time has provided all of us with opportunities to connect with our loved
ones and to self reflect.
As the world slips into fear and uncertainty, it’s important to build yourself up
resilient and to help other people and support our community in this difficult time.

With all the tragic things that are happening in the world as a result of
the coronavirus, now might seem like an unusual time to talk about
being positive. Yet staying positive is a core ingredient in the recipe of
successful coping in a crisis. Now, more than ever, is the time for us to
be proactive about creating small moments of happiness in our days,
given the findings in psychology research that positive emotions help us
to undo the negative effects of stress.
Even during lockdown, I still have many small moments to savour. The
smell of coffee, the feel of the warm shower on my back and so on.
When I stop to take in these moments, rather than let them rush by on
automatic pilot, I’m giving my brain a chance to process the pleasure,
which boosts my serotonin – the feel-good neurotransmitter that helps
elevate my mood and make me feel calm.
Art can be so powerful because it makes me escape for a little bit, it
puts me in that mindfulness zone, and time passes so quickly. I can
actually reflect and say, ‘I did that and it looks good’. As teenagers, if we
are doing this ourselves, then we are showing good habits to our siblings
and people around us in our family. So, I’m taking out time of my busy,
strange life at the moment, by doing something like cooking, crochet or
colouring in with my family. It’s a fantastic thing to be doing together, and
it will go such a long way.
The most important thing I’ve learned, which surprised me, is that now is
a really good time to learn things you wanted to from the longest time.
Not all lessons need to be academic – they can be life lessons, music
lessons, dance lessons, etc. I’m learning how to fold clothes, mop up or
vacuum. Usually, life is very fast, and we have no time for this type of
teaching but now we have the all the time of our lives.
In the evening, we have family time. So, from 7.30 p.m. onwards,
everyone’s devices go away, and we have a very fiery game of UNO or
watch something appropriate on Netflix. Every household with children
can now guarantee there’s going to be family time.

There are going to be interesting, diverse scenarios taking place in
homes at the moment. Don’t get frazzled, because teenagers don’t lose
it – we are quite calm. And just remember that your family is transitioning
as well. We need to use lots of negotiation and give and take. But it’s not
going to be permanent. There’s no quick fix, and you’re not a failure,
because this is brand new to us all. The positive thing is, we’re going to
get to know our family more.
